The Landauer formula (LF) relating the transmission function to the current-voltage characteristic has been used extensively to understand quantum transport through nano-devices. In this work, we utilize the exact solution of the LF with resonant transmission functions (RTFs) to get closed form expressions for current, differential conductance and differential thermopower in various regimes including those with non-linear voltage and thermal bias. We exploit the simple form of the expressions to design new protocols for finding the parameters of RTFs.
